Poetry: Falling in Love
Falling in love...not my idea of how love happens. Tapped into it. The experiencing the moment of cracking open the shell of protection to trust to let it come in from and with another. The other our catalyst our touchpoint. The self as a catalyst a touched point. Sharing the open cracked shell light reflection together. It is not because of, dependent on the other. It is honored by another's presence in this world. We do not find love. We experience love. Love is not waiting in wrapped bundles secured by only special someone's who hold our heart's key. We can experience it at any moment. Step into the current and motion of its constant movement and flow. Remember it lives inside of you now. Waiting for that catalyst, that other for another experience will only cause pain, regret, expectation and perceived loss of what was owed to you. Surrender to not knowing where your next blissful, joyful moment will come from. Pretend your paved pathways to finding it 'so to speak' are roadblocked and ground covered over. You are brand new. Right now. Stop. Start again. Open only when you are ready. Be unprepared for anything to happen. |
